I know I might pop if you are looking for Shanghai but I live IN SUZHOU.

I a 39 year old PE teacher in Suzhou, China. I am originally from Montreal, Canada. It is my sixth year living as an expat in China and before that I traveled around multiples countries using couch surfing. I now want to give the opportunity to travel to China to other travelers now that the borders are reopened. I like doing endurance challenges like marathon, Ironman or long distance biking. I also enjoy a good night out or an relaxed afternoon at the park.

I want to enjoy my stay abroad by discovering as many different countries and have wonderful encounters.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hey, when I first heard about couch surfing a realised that it's the cheapest, funniest and most interesting way of travelling.Its always better to be with someone who's from the area rather than been a plain tourist.

My current experience of living in a small village in Senegal Right now with a familly and sharing there life style while working (teaching) in a school is way more interesting than just packing with my toubab (name for whitefolk in africa) friends.

I hope to share the same kind of experience with you where ever we happen to meet.
