About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get on top of my mountain.

ABOUT ME

Right now, I am radically exploring my passions, and trying new things, finding new passions, and living with trust that if you are doing things that you believe in, then you will be happy, and people will respond to that and everything will be ok. I believe in symbiosis, in helping and being helped, and being kind and receiving kindness.
I eft my job of 3 years with Toms Shoes. It is a company that gives shoes to children in need when you buy a pair for yourself. It was a wonderful place but I felt ready to break the patterns. So i'm doing everything i want to do, and nothing else.
I make documentary films. A lot of them are in support of the preservation of our national parks system.
I live in an intentional community in Los Angeles with lots of other creative people. We make art, music, and film together, and share meals, and warmth, and friendship. It's great, it really is.
Also I've traveled a lot. And i've done random adventurous things like play basketball for a year in Bolivia. So let's hang out.

PHILOSOPHY

We have to create. It is the only thing louder than destruction.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people. Make friends with them and show them things about LA that are hard to learn about. Like going to a seriously delicious brewery and checking out street art, and music. And let people borrow my bike because i hate cars.
And now i'm travelling a bit. And i want to stay with people, and help them cook, and clean, and converse, and teach them about me and learn from them. Show me what the guidebooks won't, please.

And i ate a lot of bolivian food and drank a lot of bolivian beers with my team, but we stayed skinny because we loved the hoops!
