ABOUT ME

I'm Max. Main thing to know is that I'm really laid back. I very rarely get annoyed and when I do it passes quickly. I love snowboarding and anything to do with the mountains. I also like skateboarding and generally spending my time outside when it's good enough weather. I love philosophy and learning about the world we live in.

Music: Anything ranging from the heaviest of death metal to the calmest classical pieces. I love a good rave and a mosh. Generally if it's not popular mass produced crap I'll give it a go and there's a chance I'll like it.

Books: J.S.Mill 'On Liberty', Nozick's 'Anarchy, State and Utopia', 1984, basically anything that has some level of social critique will grab my attention.

Films: Mainly films with a message behind them. The stuff coming out of hollywood thee days is far too similar to each other and feels a bit like a waste of time in all honesty.

I hitchhiked from London to Croatia with my girlfriend. The people we met on the way and the places we saw were mind blowing!

I've been sailing in south america amongst other places and have been skiing in France every year for years.

I feel I know quite a lot about freedom. I can tell you about a philosopher called J.S.Mill who's views on liberty changed the way I perceive the world. It's too much to write here so you'll have to meet me to find out!

I really want to learn more on how people are helping the world. Too many people feel they can't do anything to change the world and feel that belief justifies them in being egoist consuming machines, I disagree.

I also am a strong pacifist and believe violence is NEVER the answer.
