我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to travel. And not just to have a rapid glance at the country I'm in, but to achieve full understanding of the life and traditions of local people.
Also I'm here because I want to host people from abroad and to show them sights of my motherland that they would probably never see without my help.

兴趣

I'm a musician, I have a garage-punk/psychedelic band called Nikola Tesla & Thee Coils, so my interests mostly are in the field of music and performance, Songwriting is the thing that really thrills me. I also like to perform live with my band or by myself.
Sometimes it's also great to read a book or two. My favorite author is Jack Kerouac. He inspired the most rad years of my youth on hitchhiking and living in the wilderness.
That's why traveling is also one of my passions.

I prefer psychedelic and garage-lofi music now, but I'm actually have a broad range of genres I admire. If I have to call some bands I'm fond of now they would be: Thee Oh Sees, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, White Fence, This Heart Electric, Morgan Delt, Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
As for movies, first one that I recall is Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, but I also like those obscure art house films.
I read a lot and enjoy authors like Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs, Louis Ferdinand Selin and others.
