I live and work in a small town Severodonetsk. Approximately 20 kilometers from my house there is a line of delimitation with the occupied territory of Ukraine. Тwenty years I work in the police in the criminal department, and in the near future I'm going to retire. Most of all I like to travel. Me and my wife Elena like to learn about someone else's culture, being and mentality. I plan to visit many countries on retirement.

My wife and I have two wonderful children, Oksana is 17 years old and Nicholas is 8 years old. We named the younger son Nikola because he was born on the day of St. Nicholas. We can not leave children for a long time, and therefore we choose to travel for no longer than 10 days. But this is enough to gain positive emotions for half a year before the next vacation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife and I are going to go round all of Europe, but the budget for this is limited. From friends I learned that you can travel with Couchsurfing. During such trips, people exchange experience, help them to penetrate local calorie, learn foreign languages.
In May 2019, together with my wife, I plan to visit five countries: Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, France and the United Kingdom
