Hi everyone,

My name is Maxime. I'm 22 and I'm a french engineering student. This year is my gap year and I would like to take advantage of the opportunity to travel abroad while discovering new cultures, landscapes and of course people.

I would love to visit and discover the western coast of Australia.
I will arrive to Perth around April 15th and then move along the western coast till Exmouth where I intend to stay until May 19th.
As an ocean lover, and a fan of snorkeling and scuba-diving, this region has so much to offer and I would love to discover it while meeting new people, discovering their culture as well as improving my english ;)

Interests

I've got 2 main hobbies in my life: music and scuba diving.
I've lived in the South West coast of France for about 17 years (I had to leave it to go and study in Paris, against my will of course ;) ), that's where I became an ocean lover and fond of snorkeling and scuba-diving :)
And my wish is to travel the world to discover the best sites Nature has to offer !
As regards music, I've played the trumpet for 16 years now, and started playing the guitar and the ukulele (nothing better on beach's evenings ;) ) 4 years ago.
I love playing and listening to music and always looking for new musical experiences so if you have ones in mind, do not hesitate !

I also love dancing salsa. I'll be happy to teach you some steps if you want, you'll see, it's easier that it seems ;)

I like to go running and play badminton at least once a week too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to a lot of music but funk and jazz are definitely my favourite types.
Funk to wake up in a good mood, and jazz to chill out during sweet evenings is a very good recipe :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Of course I also love to travel to discover with you your culture, your habits and your region and its beautiful landscapes :)
Always willing to learn something I don't know or aquire new skills!

I'm enthusiastic and communicative. When you're happy, teel it and share it with your friends ! It's so good to remember that we're lucky to be alive.

Of course my passions. I'll enjoy making you, if you want, discover new mixes of music, learn new steps of salsa, or talk about and go snorkeling or scuba diving!

Anf of course, I'll bring with me a little bit of French culture (and believe me, when I'm coming, a good bottle of wine is not far away ! ;) )
