I am a 24-year old Belgian guy who's travelling the world, well at least as much as I can! I graduated in engineering and didn't really know what kind of job to choose, so I decided to travel the world to experience as many different things as I can. It's something I've been willing to do since I spent a year in Canada after my high school. Let's be honest, the financial aspect is quite important. However, I think Couchsurfing creates a network of people eager to meet and learn about other person's life, culture and so much more. This corresponds perfectly to my idea of traveling. I don't think staying in a hotel will allow you to discover as much a local culture, even though it's even more expensive!

I was part of the under-18 national ice hockey team. I got to go to Kiev to play the world championships. Even though the level in Belgium is not that high, I'm quite proud of myself to have been selected considering my short size haha
