I was borned and raised in Quebec City, Canada. I just finished college and I will enter University this autumn. I'm really open-minded, I like to talk, take naps, drink tea, meet new people, party, do crazy things on a whim, travel, live new adventures, and my friends often say that i'm pretty reckless (...which I am). However, I also consider myself a bookworm : i'm very curious and I like to read & learn a LOT.

Because the "Never talk to strangers" thing is the worst advice you can get. How can you possibly meet new people and make new friends if you never talk to strangers ?

More seriously, it's a money-wise alternative to hotels/airbnbs. However, I think couchsurfing is a lot more than that : it's a great way to meet and share with other couch-surfers and nice, open-minded people . Also, it can be pretty helpful to get the pulse of a foreign city more quickly.
