Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I want to travel as authentic as possible. I do not like feeling like a typical tourist, I prefer to get to know the real country, not the touristic one. With Couchsurfing I can find people who can show me their country and the places they like, what they find great about it and I can show them my country as well, places I like etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have a favourite band or musician, but I like some old stuff and also some new. Mostly I am listening to guitar based music, but sometimes I also like to listen to The Police or Johnny Cash for example.

Having studied media makes me watching movies differently. I love the so-called mind-fuck movies but also movies with lots of detail in it. One of my favourite movies is Mr. Nobodzy.

I read a lot. And I especially like books that inspire me. The Alchemist and Nighttrain to Lisbon almost changed my way of perception in a very positive way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show them the places I like in my town and prepare some food. I love vegetables. Besides I am a good listener and will try to make the host's trip as comfortable as possible.
