About Me

I am a cat person who doesn't have a cat.... so I'm pretty much an "other people's cat person", anyhow.

I'm currently a public servent in Ottawa but am starting a PhD in economics in september. I think it's fair to say that I love the academic environment.

I like going out but also really like just staying home having a nice dinner, with a nice wine and some cheeses (oh, I have the french citizenship, maybe my love for cheese comes from there...).

I suck at describing myself so.... I'll just end this here...

One last thing, I think I have 4 t-shirts with a sloth on, on one of them the sloth is sitting on a tortoise.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would say saving money obviously but a really close second would be meeting people while travelling. People who could tell me about nice places to visite or even show me around if they fel like it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music? It changes with my mood. Sometime I really lije working with some punk rock and other times with rap.

Movies? I'm a huge fan of V for Vendetta, I ususally watch it every month. I really like super hero movies, but I'm pretty open to anything. I really enjoyed Swiss Army Man (with Radcliffe) for example.

Books: My favorite author is called Bernard Werber, he wrote a series of 5-6 books on reincarnation cycles with the goal of changing level at some point to eventually becoming gods, galaxies to a the end realizing that ... (wont tell you the ending:)).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving a couple of time, but thats not really amazing...

I crossed Mordor (Tongariro national park in New Zealand).

Countries I’ve Visited

Cuba, France, New Zealand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
