Hi Everyone, I'm Maxime.
I was born in Bruxelles, Belgium, and I've spent 16 years of my life there. Then I've started to travel. I lived in south west of France for almost 4 years, then in Brighton (UK) for a few months, London, and two years in Paris. I'm a 23 years old photographer, doing documentary art projects using photography and others medium, such as installations, performances, etc ! I'm very dedicated to this job as this is also a passion a hobby, and a lifestyle. So I spent hours in museums, art galleries, and others interesting places.

I'm working for myself and I have been publishing my work in several french and international magazines. I'm travelling often around the world for my projects, which I always share with my couchsurfers !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love sharing my experience with others people. I've always felt that couchsurfers have something "more" than other random people, in the way they are interacting, sharing their daily life, in a different way. It's something very unique and precious in our society becoming more and more selfish.

I'm mostly travelling for my photography projects, and I love to meet new people instead of staying alone in my hotel room. I never only work on my project and consider couchsurfers as an hotel, it is not the way I'm seeing it. On the contrary I love to spend time with the kind people hosting me. Discovering the city with local people is priceless, and I love to do it when I'm inside countries I know.

I also often involve the people I'm staying with in my actual projects. So if you are interested in photography and art, it would be very interesting for both of us !
