Hi! We are Lisa (26) and Maxime (28), a french couple travelling together for about five years now.
We first met in New Zealand and then we lived in Canada for two years and a half.
We are now on a looong hitchiking (most of the time) trip, from Montréal (Québec) to Patagonia and we enjoy meeting new people and discovering new cultures on our way. We are about half way down and we decided to go back to France and cross the Atlantic ⛵, to enjoy the summer with our friends and family, before continuing our journey in south America 😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sharing with people has always been something we love and we think that this is the best way to meet locals and discover what countries and regions have to offer. We are using CS since we began our trip and we love it!!

Interests

We are two curious travellers who are always trying to discover local activities.
We love hiking, scubadiving and being outside, surrending by nature. Maxime is a mountain guy while Lisa has a connexion with the sea. We both enjoy discovering new activities, food, culture and more. We also love live music and festivals. We are two life lover, and we would love to share a part of it with the couchsurfing community 😊

We literally can listen and enjoy all kinds of music in the good context 😊 We particularly like reggae and dub music, and a good techno psy/trans festival. I will add for myself french variety and all types of traditional music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living out of France for a long time and meet people from everywhere in the world has always been an incredible experience that gave us the chance to live many adventures that we are always happy to share!

(Crossing North and central america hitchhiking, swim with crocodile around, dive in the caribean sea, sky dive, cross from panama to colombia by boat, and wayyyy more)

Teach, Learn, Share

We can help you with gardening, building things, painting your walls and kind of anything you want to do in your house. We don't really have any specific skills regarding these things, but we did some volunteering on WWOF and we discovered that we are very good to follow instructions and give a good help 😁
We can also help you improve your french, and we would love to keep learning spanish. We are always keen to share a drink, good stories and good vegetarian receipes as I (Lisa) am vegetarian for several years now.
