About Me

I believe that it is the right wish that draws us to the right place. It allows us to get to know ourselves better. Thereby, it is not a way to escape life... it is after all, a way for life not to escape from us. That's why I love traveling!
There are many ways to explore a destination, but for me gastronomy is one of the best. I'm a chef so I'm all about taste and passion. Besides, I love hiking, through nature I explore, dream and discover.
Today I work in a restaurant in Toulouse called : Midi-minuit, I invite you to check it out on tripadvisor and on facebook, just typing Midi Minuit in Toulouse ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing represents for me a way of solidarity. I believe that this principle is the key of our societies today. The more we are open to others, the more we learn. This alternative way of traveling is a way to experience new cultures from the inside. I have the feeling that I'm not the tourist known as the "unknown" that nobody cares. It is the opposite, I feel that I get to know cultures and people get to know mine, isn't that great?

Interests

As I was telling you, my passion is food, not necessarily gastronomic one, I love simple, local and typical recipes from all over the world. I also love landscapes and nature, specially mountains so in winter time I do a lot of cross-country skiing and during spring and summer I do a lot of hiking specially with my friends and my girl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I went to Tanzania last year we stayed at a Maasai family. The made I party for us as the honor guests. They scarified a young goat and let me tell you that the meat was delicious. Though, in between, they gave us a glass of cooked goat blood. I didn't expected at all, it impressed me a little bit, but at the end I tried and I drank it. Actually the taste was good so I said to my self that at the end, even if we are not use to some things, before judging without knowing, you can try and maybe change your mind!!
