Heyo! I'm a PhD student from Switzerland but spending my life between Neuchâtel (CH), Leiden (NL) and Moscow. Of friendly nature, I can get along with a lot of different people and character. Tolerant to any way of life, I'm comfortable having beers with anyone ready for it!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

In particular: get help from the locals to discover places I would never see as a tourist! I tend to avoid going in the most touristical places - I dislike the fact that it ends up making the life of locals worse.

But yeah sometimes it can't be avoided right :o)

Intereses

I'm still living at my parent's place at the moment. Well, mostly for sleeping. I'm mostly busy with all my activities (PhD, local politics, learning Russian, being volunteer in a jazz festival here and there). Also, my work requires to travel the world, so at the moment there is no good possibility to have a couch to share.

I'm mostly listening to metal (at the moment: melodeath like Insomnium. Sounds scary but is actually awesome), videogames covers and jazz. I am reading sci-fi books (kudos to The Expanse).

Participated to a humanitarian rally in Morocco 's desert with a crappy 27-hp 40 years old French car (4L Trophy).
Being elected in my local parliament.
Graduated from an engineering university without becoming alcoholic.
Surviving 6 months in Texas.
Shook hands with many astronauts.
Date an aerospace engineer ;)
