To me, the point of hosting is to try to show a traveler a great memorable time and share my favorite things in the city. If I have time, I will take you to the events and show you the best place te be.
I surf/host and help people whenever I can....Couchsurfing is amazing when you are alone/new in a city and want to meet some great people.
