I´m a 23 year old student from Germany. I studied Sociology and Politics in my Bachelor.
During my studies I kept traveling whenever I had the oportunity. Most of the time this was in Spain, France and Italiy. Now I have finished the first part of my study and am travelling through the South of America with my girlfriend for 10 months until July 2016.
I like to meet new persons and according to friends I´m easy to handle. In my spare time I do a bit of Yoga and sports in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m quite new to the idea of Courchsurfing, but everything has a beginning, right? I like the idea of getting to know new persons and at my journey through South America I think that it is the best way of exploring the "real" culture. When I am getting back to Germany I will definitely offer my space to people of couchsurfing, because I want to continue that connection with foreigners.

Interests

I enjoy a lot of things, especially with friends. Watching a good film, cooking dinner together (everything which is not super spicy), doing sports together (hiking, badminton, volleyball...). Beside that I enjoy Yoga sessions and all kind of sports with own weight.

Music, Movies, and Books

Depending on my mood I like a lot of stuff. For Movies I enjoyed a lot Sherlock Holmes and in general intelligent movies. The music also depends of my mood, it goes from classics of the 80´s, over electronic music to nowadays charts.
One of my recent favorite books were "Thinking Fast and Slow" and the Harry Potter books.

Teach, Learn, Share

Through my experiencies with couchsurfing I hope to get to know the culture of South America with first hand experiences. I like to improve my Spanish, but I also enjoy to speak English or German for helping others to improve their language skills. I also like to share german cooking culture, as well as spend evenings - partying or staying in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I guess I am a humorous guy, who can always see the bright side of something seemingly negative. I am easy to handle and I like to cook german dishes for foreigners if they like to. I also like helping out with language learning in English or German.
