Hey there, I'm Max from Germany. Right now im 22 years old and studying architecture in Aachen. Before studying I passed two years traveling in Spain and France, which was a great experience! Now it's time to discover Italy with my girlfriend Anna. You also can find her profile here. I am very interested in meeting new people and new cultures. Obviously I'm a fan of architecture and old city's but also I really like nature and the countryside. I think for traveling nothing is better than meet origins for a whine or a bottle of beer and to listen all there story's about the area. I like to live, enjoy and discover. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I already made great experience with traveling and meet new peoples about hostels. But, after some research, I had the feeling that for Italy it would be better to try this new thing called couchsurfing. Isn't it the best way to get known to the people and culture?! Of course I would love to give the opportunity back to other traveling people in my hometown! Never be shy to ask, if you want to visit Germany :))

Music, Movies, and Books

I really, really like music. I played the trumpet for more than 10 years, but I also really like other kinds of music like House, HipHop or local music. I would never say no to a nice movie evening in a good company. Books... honestly since I'm studying I just took time to read architectural literature but I really hope to find more time for other books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my journeys to Spain was spent to hike the Camino de Santiago. Definitely one of my favorite experiences. Every night we met new people from all destinations in little hostels or just slept with them outside around a camp fire. The mix between all the little city's, the wonderful nature and all the new people was just great and made the journey unique...

Teach, Learn, Share

I already spent time to learn French and Spanish and now it's time for Italian! Hopefully I can make a good progress while traveling. Even though I hope to eat new meals and dishes and this is the point where I also want to share my own knowledge. In our luggage we got a big selection with German sweets and for sure, with your help we could create some nice dinners with Italian and German specials!
