PHILOSOPHY
I'm religious in a way. I think there is someone out there, call him God if you want to, that wants me to freaking get out there and enjoy myself, uplifting as many around me as possible.
Interessen
Are you serious? Wow, if that's really what you: Traveling, languages, cultures, meeting new people, music (I play the trumpet myself in two bands), international and local politics, reading (my fav right now is "the other side of Paradise" by Staceyann Chin), movies (I adore "Into the Wild), writing (yep, mostly academics... It's weird, I know...), sports (I do some jogging and weight lifting, soccer, and American football)...

Musik, Filme und Bücher
Movies: Into the Wild, About Schmidt, Bankjob, King of California, Lord of the Rings, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Garden State...
Books: The Other Side of Paradise, Predictably Irrational, Postdemocracy, A Long Way Down, Eine Woche voller Samstage...
Music: Depends of the situation. When I'm just hanging out, I like Rock, some pop and when I'm at a party I like some HipHop, electronic music and all that. When I'm on the go I like Country Music a lot...
This is not even the tip of the iceberg. As soon as I have some more time, I'll add up to the list.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Last winter I went snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. That was by far one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Laugh all you want but ever since I buy those linen bags at the supermarket and ride the bike more often instead of the car.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
Practical stuff that I can think of would be: Cleaning (Yeah, I know, but really, I've been working at a supermarket for almost two years, cleaning stuff up, so I really know how to. :-D
Something else would be that I know a lot about German History since I read a lot about it in in my free time. I could imagine that one or the other would be interested in a couple of things that I could share.
Oh, and if you can get a hold on a trumpet, I might be able to teach you how to at least make a sound with it. ;-)
