We are a family of 4 currently on a 5 month trip through South East Asia and looking to meet people as we go and form friendships.

Back home we live in the French Pyrenees where Melanie works as a primary school teacher, Max is a software developer, Tula (12) is in her second year of secondary school and Jazmin (8) is in her penultimate year of primary school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling as a tourist is fun but we've always found that we get the most out of travelling by meeting people, forming friendships and seeing how they live rather than just seeing the sights.

Ideally we'd like to meet other families so that our kids can also form friendships with kids from other cultures.

We understand that whilst we have lots of free time in the busy hustle and bustle of most peoples lives others might not. We are very happy to work around your availability if you are interested in hosting us.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Primarily a cultural exchange, friendship, good conversations and trust.

On a more practical level, we all speak 3 languages (English, Catalan and French) and Melanie and Max speak Spanish, we'd be happy to teach you. We enjoy cooking and would be happy to cook for you and share recipes. Max can help you with anything computer related, whilst Melanie enjoys doing Yoga.
