ABOUT ME

Ryan and I are currently discussing the ways in which these profile-writing rituals are similar to online role-playing games.

1. Create a character that is a close representation of your favorite self.
2. Interact (via internet) with other people's representations of their favorite selves.
3. Establish a digitized human relationship with these people, who are likely thousands of miles away through these literary interactions written through the filter of the character brain.
4. With any luck, a team is formed and things get accomplished.

That being said, I'm going to try to represent myself as accurately and unsweetened as possible, so here it goes.

I'm 21. I often feel too old for my age.
When I really get down to it, I have faith in absolutely nothing, but hope for so many things.
I struggle daily with philosophies of reality and perception, but I try not to think about it too much when I have to get things done. I'm trying to find a balance there.
More often than not, I'm totally overwhelmed with love. Someone once told me my heart chakra is overactive. I try to keep it under control, but I think it just sortof glows out of me somehow (that's one of those things that's hard to express over the internet).
I care a lot about people, and I'm getting more and more nervous about the state of the world, so I'm in school right now to try to learn as much as I can about people and cultures to try to figure out where I can be of the most use.
I've been told I am the most accepting person a lot of people have ever met. I try to understand instead of judge in almost every situation, mostly because I don't want to be judged and I can't very well expect people to not judge me if I'm judging them. So, there's that.

Past all of that, I drink a lot of coffee and smoke a lot of cigarettes, I generally have at least one drink every day, but rarely more than three, and I want to read at least one hundred books in the next year. My best friend is my dog, Luna. I drive a 1983 veggie benz. And... I love and live for art and communication.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've gone skinny-dipping in the Adriatic Sea under a blood red moon and danced by the hidden pools tucked away in the Rocky Mountains. I've jumped from 60 foot cliffs and hiked 20 miles down a river bed in the middle of a desert. Life is good :)
