ABOUT ME

I'm pretty quiet usually, but always looking to have fun, relax, chill out and just have a laugh. When I'm not taking soul searching adventures by bicycle around foreign countries I'm either waking up early for work or geeking out over video games, video editing, computer stuff. Lame, yeah? I like to think I'm more interesting in person. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My original plan was to not couch surf anywhere and sleep in public places everywhere! But then my trip took a turn for the worse and I found that people are much better company that dew drops, bugs, and trees.

Interests

Photography, video shooting and editing, hashing together websites, scribbling, riding my bike and a couple of video games to waste time (but I'm not nearly as bad as I used to be.)

I'm frequently told that my playlist caters to a lot of different people, but from my most played... The Growlers, Alt-J, Frank Ocean, Aesop Rock, Blakroc, the Cool Kids, Fat Freddy's, Flying Lotus, NERD, Son Little, Tame Impala, Woodkid, The weeknd...

Top movie of all time has to be The Fall, but I'll do anything that isn't some hollywood cookie cutter film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled from London to (almost) Rome. Then the same thing through Spain and Portugal. Currently aiming to do something much bigger than I've done before with Paris to Hungary, then around the Alps back to Spain.

Teach, Learn, Share

Call me uncultured, inexperienced or humble, this was my first step into a major overseas experience and I'm in life experience overload from all of the people I've met. In exchange I can offer company and stories of my travels, but it really doesn't feel like anything truly extraordinary happened in my life until I got on that aeroplane. Take whatever else you can from me (except my possessions!)
