Hello! I started traveling at the end of October and so far I have been to Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia! My next portion of the trip will take me through Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam!

I grew up in Southern California and then went to school at UCLA and had lived in Los Angeles until I was 23. I then moved to Chicago, IL for about 3 years before moving back to Los Angeles.

I like to perform stand-up or Improv comedy from time to time. I decided to take the last year of my 20's to travel around the world - and I can't wait to meet awesome new people from all over! I would love to meet cool locals or expats who want to help me learn about their culture, exchange ideas, and become friends!

I also like to stay active, by working out and doing yoga. I have become passionate about yoga in the last 2 years and will try to practice and learn more throughout my travels.

Well, to put it simply...I came to an epiphany:

I decided after 7 years at a corporate job, which I entered immediately after college, to take the last year of my 20's to travel around the world! So, I (politely) quit and bought a one way ticket to Australia.

I would love to meet as many cool people in each location. Often times I will have hostels booked, so even if you would like to hang out and show some tourists around, that would be awesome!As I will be traveling with a friend, we also made it a point to separate at various times in order to try to couch surf/do our own thing/meet new people.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

My favorite music is hard to define - I definitely like a lot of different types of music. My most played songs and genres would definitely be hip hop and classic rock. My favorite band right now is The 1975.

My favorite book of the past few years has been The Gold Finch. I plan to read some great books on this trip.

My favorite movies - really hard! - I am a big movie fan and go to a lot of movies, so this question is always hard for me. Which genre do I pick?! I think the movie that I have seen the most is Happy Gilmore and my "favorite" movie is The Departed.

Learn: I really would like to learn how to cook different cuisines - and also to speak the language of whichever country I'm in (hopefully Australia is an easy start for me).
