I like to ask people what their spirit animal is, so I'll tell you mine. I think of myself as the mythical Catdog, neither full cat nor full dog, combining the qualities of each. HBU?

I spent many years as a nomadic wanderer: couchsurfing, vanlifing, and carving a winding path through the outer world and the inner world of self discovery. My life has taken a more settled turn now to support the music and artistic career that I love!

For work/occupation am a professional musician, aside from artist, teacher, dancer and a whole lot of other things. Right now I front the 5 piece "Eclectic groove" band Muwa (check us out at Muwamusic.com)

Other main passions in my life include spirituality, psychedelic advocacy, spending time in nature (especially by the ocean), basketball and other sports, reading, writing, and watching amazing films.

I love the idea of a community founded upon the principle of free giving - and I believe that's the reason couchsurfers tend to be so awesome! A global network of free-spirited, creative, curious, generous folks... what's not to love?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month and a half living without any money on the streets of San Francisco and then I biked from SF to LA!

Also - three ten day silent meditation retreats - both of which we're even more physically and mentally difficult than the aforementioned adventure.
