About Me

Hi there, nice to meet you!

A little bit about me:
I am on the verge of extreme; could be up for any adventure, or could ditch anything for a snuggle with a good book. I listen to anything from orchestra instrumental pieces to hard metal. I am both a coffee and a tea person. I like cats and dogs (YES, you could like both). You get the general idea.

Travelling has always been one of my priorities (when I am actually smart and strong enough to save money, instead of spending it all on food). I have travelled quite a bit, but my bucket list has somehow grown even bigger. The world and people never fail to amaze me. On another note, I love food, probably way more than I should. Would love to exchange recipes!

It would be an underestimation to say that I enjoy discovering new things; restaurants, roads, activities, art, traditions, customs, music, cuisines and recipes, of course, cultures and people. Random conversations with complete strangers are the best. It would be great to talk about different cultures and everyday life.

My Philosophy
- Spread as much kindness, generosity, smiles and unexpected love as if my life is depending on it. People are in desperate need of these things nowadays.
- Take the wrong turns. Talk to strangers. Open unmarked doors. And if you see a group of people in a field, go find out what they are doing.
- Don't wait for people to be friendly; show them how it's done.

If you are looking for a conversation starter, how about you tell me a stereotype of your country/territory that isn't true (I'll probably learn something new). You could also tell me a good joke, or better yet, your favorite destination or food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because we would never fully understand and grasp the essence of a culture unless we live it like a local ;)
Also how amazing it is to meet people who are genuine about helping others and trusting them enough to host them at their own homes or meet them somewhere. We don't see that often in our day to day lives I would have to say.

Interests

Even though I like the city life, with its touristic places, restaurants and nightlife, I am genuine about staying in a countryside or a village, just chilling there and enjoying the natural beauty of the place.
I'm usually fond of the underestimated local places, rather than the touristic popular destinations.

As a political science student, I'm also interested in politics and philosophy. I'm into psychology and behavioral analysis as well. I'm not boring though, I promise.

Long walks. Walking tours. Visiting museums. Hiking. Chilling at the beach. Cooking and trying out recipes. Cycling. People watching (not in a creepy way though).
