👩🏻‍🎓I am Maya, a 22-year-old woman. I have lived in Germany since I was born and have not seen much of the world yet. I graduated from high school in Germany and then did six months of volunteer work. For the past two years, the university library has been my best friend. When I wasn't at the library, you would have found me either with friends, at the gym, in the choir, or at home with my beloved family playing board games.

✈️ Since I felt stuck in my routine and am curious about the wider world, I did what I had been planning to do since I was 17: I went to New Zealand. 🍽🥗 In addition, my daily schedule revolves around mealtimes. If we cook together, it must be vegetarian, but Asian, Indian, and spicy dishes are very welcome. For a cold dinner, it is also very important that good bread is made from dark wholemeal flour, with seeds and a nice crust. However, I would prefer to abstain from alcohol and other intoxicating substances.When it comes to dessert, I would also prefer to avoid sugary treats; fruit and 70%+ chocolate are sure to bring a smile to my face.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Queenstown, I wanted to do a bungee jumping. I stood at the edge but couldn't spring. In the moment, I didn't feel the yearn to spring for myself. I stepped back and was still happy.
