Hi all!

I'm Maya, I'm from West Virginia and went to school at WVU. Although I love my state and my roots that lie here, I have always had itchy feet and the passion for travel and seeing all the environments of the world and the beauty they hold.

So far I've traveled to Canada, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe but I'm always looking for the next adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Partially because unfortunately, the fields of art and wildlife aren't luxurious in pay and partially because I have always loved meeting new people while traveling. I love hearing their stories and getting in touch with local life when visiting a new place!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love nearly all music; classic rock, blues, reggae, acoustic, pop, hip hop, country. I'll never say no to waking up to some Jack Johnson, a rainy day of Champion Jack Dupree, CCR or anything you can sing along to.

I'm pretty easy when it comes to movies, comedies are always a good go to though :)

Recently I've been reading The UN's Lone Ranger because I'm a nerd like that. And of course, no 90s baby doesn't love Harry Potter. ;)
