I'm a married, mom of 4 grown kids and a grand baby who is coming soon. I love to travel and have adventures, but my most favourite part of any trip is meeting new people and getting a glimpse into their lives through their cooking, food, entertainment and social lives. I live on a small hobby farm on southern Vancouver Island and I love to be a travel guide to visitors of the Island. I don't smoke (allergic) or drink, and would rather hang out on a trail or beach than in a bar. I have a beloved Dog, A Weimaraner, that is my constant companion except when I'm overseas of course.

Its really impossible for me to truly understand and love a country until I can get to know its people. I love adventure and hope to learn about the little unknown spots that take me away form the tourists and more with the locals.
