About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Opening to what's next in life, keeping an open mind and heart!

ABOUT ME

ah, then where is the mystery? I've been raising 2 daughters on my own for the last umpteen years, one in college, the other with 2 years of high school left; I love the people in my life, our connections through song, story, and music, as I love animals, the outdoors, big nature, gardening, plant lore, poetry, theatre, music and dance of all sorts, iceskating, snow, and extreme sunshine, both; I am not vegan, but love vegan and vegetarian principles and techniques, peppered with a healthy love of wild venison artfully prepared, and wild salmon, too. Wild foods in general. Love art, and thoughtful discussion on any topic, intelligent movies, Oregon Country Fair, radio, and so much more....

PHILOSOPHY

to bring more joy into the world
to let the flower bloom, in its own time
to cultivate greater compassion for all beings

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Open to hosting travelers who come this way; happy to pass on references to other locals who might be able to host surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

only informal, among friends, during longer roadtrips; and of course in the tour heyday of the good ole grateful dead....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived off the grid, grown my own food, birthed two babies naturally, and raised them by myself! One Amazing thing I've SEEN: eagle grabbing another bird catching a fish, and flying off with it in its talons.

Teach, Learn, Share

Want to learn Farsi, better French; can teach crocheting, writing, herbal info, mind-body self-investigation/healing.
