About Me
Hi, I’m Mayara (but call me Maya (: )..
I’m a very friendly person, very communicative and I’m almost always smiling. I love to make new friends and travel around the world.
I’m from São Paulo - Brazil, but I also lived in New York for 13 months. I work as a lawyer since 2017.
Im from a very busy crazy city, but I love knowing new places, small towns, the hidden places where people usually don’t go, where usually they have the best food in that country (actually this is something that I love: food!)
If you want to know me better you can also fallow me on Instagram @mayaracrodrigues

Music, Movies, and Books
I’ve been close to music all my life. I took piano classes when I was 8. But then I figured out that I like singing, then I took singing and general music classes. I don’t have a favorite kind of music, I think this depend of the moment of your life and your mood.
If you ask me what is my favorite hobby? My answer will be watching movies. At the movie theater or at home. Eating popcorn or pizza. I’m very into the cinema universe. I also don’t have a favorite kind of movie, I just love being inside another story and all that creation. (I just don’t like movies that will scare me haha)..
About books? I’m gonna be cliche.. I LOVE Nicholas Sparks. He is my favorite writer. I can’t lie, I love romances and love stories..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in another country for one year, trying a new culture, language, being away of everything I know and love.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach and share everything about Brazilian culture. About samba (I’m probably not that good dancing, but I can talk about it haha), soccer (not a good player also, but we can try haha), but most important: food. We can make some brigadeiro or pão de queijo! ;)
I want to learn more about local culture and food, places and make new friends.
