Hi~~~I am Mayee from China. Not like most Chinese with small eyes, shy, and gingerliness, I am easygoing and crazy with a big eye and sunburnt skins. I was born in Guangzhou where near Hongkong. Guangzhou is a food paradise and it no wonder makes me to be a 100% foodie.

I have been to Indonesia for volunteering and exchanging, during this journey, I made many friends from all over the world, we worked together, handed out together, told our own stories and tried to understand each other. This journey not only expanded my horizon but also showed me the real world with diversity culture and lifestyles. That’s really amazing!!

And I have been worked in PhnomPenh Cambodia during 2018-2020, met many nice people there and had very good experience.

Right now, I am back to My hometown Guangzhou and live in a small apartment with my husband Jia (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/zhengjia)

I am a crazy fan of a Chinese reggae Band, named Mr. Sea turtle. the Lead singer has a perfect sexy timbre, when he sings, you will easy to be involved by the mood he created. also His cloth style is special and fashion. and another reason I think is his mid-age-face looks like my boyfriend, hahaha~~~

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016, when I heard my hostfam mother was in cancer, I felt really worried about her health. And felt sorry because since I stay in her house when I was a volunteer in 2014 in Indonesia, I never came back and met her. I really wanna do something to cheer her up and got her a surprise. At that time, an idea was rose in my mind. I decided to collect 100 smile face and blessing for her. Finally, I received over 140 photos from all over the world, collected more than 10 stories to share for her. And I have back to meet her, telling her the stories face to face. During that time I was deeply moved by the refection of this world, love and be loved. Love without borders and languages.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Teach and Share:

-Cantonese Cuisine:
Cantonese cuisine is one of 8 cuisine in Chinese food. The taste is more similar like Hongkong food, so if you wanna try or cook it, I can make it for you~ also we can share our different recipe~~

-Ukulele playing:
when I travel, I often bring my ukulele, so if you like I can teach you a song, Chinese song is definitely okay~

-Photo shooting:
I am a good photographer~ so if you want to have a good shooting post in Ins, I can be your photographer~

-Chinese paper cutting:
I can teach the special Chinese cutting, but only the simple one~, the pattern of Chinese paper cutting is amazing.
