About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, any chance I get.

ABOUT ME

I am a very curious soul, looking to learn as much I can about the human condition. Our humanity is very interesting to me and I hope that I can one day make a difference in someone's life.
All About me...Well, I love to travel most of all. One of my many goals in life is to be able to visit every single country in the world, before I die. I know, very ambitious. I love learning about other cultures, their customs and history. I love art in every shape or form. I also feel that I am somewhat of gypsy, always wanting to move around. I love music and learning all about it.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't want to live cookie-cutter lifestyle. I want to travel as much as my body will allow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got pretty involved with the group in Cali, Colombia, where I lived before living here. Then I went off to travel and now I'm back in Miami. Every time I travel I try to get in contact with some couchsurfers, as I believe it is the best way to get the inside scoop on a certain destination.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted the following people:

Dana Grinberg, Israel
Rob Youngs, USA

And I stayed over a bunch of people's houses during my backpacking trip in South America.

Since I moved to Miami, I haven't hosted anyone because I live too far from anywhere a tourist would want to be.

Interests

I'm a very curious person, so a lot of things interest me, like photography, languages, literature, meeting new and interesting people, traveling the world, learning as much as I can of whatever, music, art, singing, nature...so many more.
Soy una persona curiosa por naturaleza. Me encanta el arte en todas sus expresiones.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anything from American romantic comedies to in depth political documentaries. I like all types of documentaries. Action, drama, all genres except horror.

Music: Salsa! I love it! I am very open when it comes to music...I really love spanish rock, reggae, ska, all latin genres, bosa nova, I don't like rap, hip hop, or metal.

As of 10/24/2013: Amos Lee and ZAZ, current obsessions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bolivian Altiplano, the salt flats. Definitely one of the most breath-taking moments of my life. I recently swam with a manatee in Orange City, FL, also a beautiful, magical moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach. It may have to do with me working as a teacher right now, maybe. But besides my job, I really love to teach the few things I know to those that want to listen. I also love to learn, whatever seems interesting to me, I'll pick it up.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Italy, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Switzerland, United States, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In

Colombia, United States
