Heyy guys !
I'm Maylie a professional architect-hitchhiker from France !
I started a big trip from France to reach Australia by hichhiking in April, so I’m currently on my way !

In my trip I already cross a lot of lands and I want to take advantage of the countries I'm passing through, I'd like to discover new places, new peoples to immerse myself in new cultures.

I'm an architect at heart (architect in gap life does it exist ?), then I had the opportunity to do a university exchange in Brazil and then in Canada, which gave me a taste for travel, allowing me to focus on the social side of meeting people and exchanges!

I have diverses personalities, I can be a runner, doing some manual activities related to drawing (in a city visit that’s insane I can share it with you) but also hiking or camping stuff, in short, a lot of very different things.

I will be happy if we can share a moment in English, French or Portuguese language, I try to learn more like Turkish or Chinese but I’m still very bad at it ahaha !

Anyway, cannot wait to share all this with you :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m actually hitchiking from France, cross Europe, Central Asia and on my way to east Asia and maybe more (can become a world tour who know’s ?)
It’s a new project to discover more stuff about culture and people in new countries so let’s meet to learn from each other !!

Since I lived in Brazil, il will say that I love Brazilian funk or bosa nova of course !

Then us rap or pop are also my type but since this trip, I’m just a big fan of some randoms musics that I’ve heard in a car or in a supermarket so don’t trust my musical taste and share yours !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was invited to a wedding in Tadjikistan, very funny moment !

Camped on the Great Wall of china under a storm night, but also in a lot of random places !

Lived with a gang of fishermans in turkey for few days, it help me to learn that I’m very bad at fishing unfortunately!

Teach, Learn, Share

Travel story times are my favorites ones to share but if you prefer French food lessons I can also be a good teacher ! Learning a language is also a thing that I love so if you want me to be your teacher or your student I would love that !
