Hey I'm Maylis

I am a very energetic person, as extraverted as introvert. I am curious, or I should say, very curious and adventurous.
I am passionate about sports like handball, horseback riding but above all running,trekking and trailing !
I did my first marathon this year !! ( Even though, it was painful but you know what, no pain, no gain ahah)

I love to get lost myself in a city to discover it ! So I can walk for hours and hours, I don't care, I will enjoy it anyway ✨

I left my job 1 year ago, that's why I'm traveling now !
I traveled for 3 months and half in Asia ( Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan) from April to July.
Then, I was a volunteer for the Olympics game in Paris for 2 weeks.
As I said before, I am super curious, adventurous and, open minded : that's why I decided to continue my trip but without a plane from Kirghizistan to Jakarta.
Now, I am in NZ for a WHV, I reached it by plane because of the rainy season but currently thinking how I can go back in a couple of months by boat ahah

Other things you should know, my friends say that I am respectful and very polite. I feel really better when things are clean and organized in a house. But by backpacking, my standards changed ahaha I go from homestay to homestay and, I REALLY WANT TO continue doing couch surfing as I started in Japan.

I hope it's gonna be a lovely experience.
