To experience the world and the cultures that I never knew existed, and to simply make memories that I can look back on and smile.

ABOUT ME

Michigan-bred, Chicago-based, open-minded girl who loves to travel and meet travelers! I'm a communications executive at a global market research company, so I kinda have to love learning about different places! I work a 9-5 job Monday through Friday, but after work and on the weekends my schedule is pretty open. I crave coffee the moment I wake up, so if you want to get on my good side, be a morning person and make coffee! lol just kidding...but seriously.

I love all things outdoorsy like snowboarding, snowmobiling, hiking, kayaking, running, etc., but I also love to just chill out and have meaningful conversations with a glass, or many glasses, of wine.

I'm a die-hard Harry Potter fan and secretly hope my Hogwarts' letter just got lost in the mail somewhere - I guess it's not a secret hope any longer :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate both ways. I've done it myself, but as of right now, I'm more interested in hosting since I'm just beginning my career in Chicago and don't have a lot of time to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed through Mexico last summer and had an amazing time. I did it all by myself - fearless! Now I enjoy hosting and learning!
