ABOUT ME

I was born in a town in South-western Siberia, at 17 I moved to Moscow to study at university, and lived there for 8 years.
Now I am doing a master in Information Technology in Barcelona.
I'm a rather calm person, not too fond of night clubs and hard partying. But I like to meet new people, getting to know new cultures and sharing experiences.
My dream is that all people lived together in peace, no matter what nationality or religion they have.

PHILOSOPHY

For me all people are initially good, until they prove the opposite. I, myself, try not to do or say bad things, because I believe that every good thing done is a little step to becoming a better person, while bad things or words move me away from that. And besides good things make you feel so great, while bad ones ruin you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, right now I can't offer a couch, but I hope this will change sooner or later. I love the whole idea of couchsurfing, and I would like to surf and meet great people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For now I surfed three times, I think, and it was such a great experience that I'm looking forward to doing that again!
I also hosted quite a lot of people in Barcelona, and I also liked it, as soon as I have the possibility, I'll do that again with pleasure.

Interessi

I like learning foreign languages, and improving my native language as well.I love computers and gadgets, and can't imagine myself without my laptop and internet. I also enjoy taking photos, thought I am just an amateur.I enjoy dancing, singing and I want to learn to play some musical instrument some day.

Musica, film e libri

I like good movies. Among my favorites are those that show real life as it is, like Amores perros, 21 grams, Mar adentro, Gran Torino. Also I like movies like A beautiful mind, The Truman show, The butterfly effect. Oh, there are so many that I like, I'd better stop now :)
My music preferences are also difficult to describe. I like different music: jazz, hip-hop, trip-hop, rock'n'roll, some pop songs, etc.
I'm not a great fan of reading (as it takes a lot of time, which I don't have too much), but if I start an interesting book, it's hard to stop reading it. "The Master and Margarita", "Crime and punishment", "Three comrades" and "A farewell to arms" are among my favourites.

The Nature by itself is an fantastic thing, I can't stop being amazed by how everything is connected and living together in harmony.
