Overview
About Me
We are a young couple, Ibai (23) and Mayra (28). We live in a department in Floresta, Buenos Aires. We like to meet people and helping with the hosting during travel since we love to travel ourselves. Mayra is an excelent guide for Buenos Aires, she can tell you about interesting places and stories that don't appear on the tourist guides. We don't have but our own bed but we share our living room with anyone that wishes for it. Just one thing: you must love animals as we do, since we have a dog and six cats. Anyone with good vibes is welcome to our house.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We love to travel and we know that money is a thing when you want to host far from home. In the other hand, meeting different people that actually lives in the places you visit is the best experience when you want to know how a new place is and how the life works there. We love to share and enjoy good company, when travelling or when receiving travellers on our home. We want to use couchsurfing to travel better, cheaper and to know interesting people across the world.
Interests
We like music, cinema, theatre, shows. local cultures and traditions, different kinds of food, beach, forest, mountain and wilderness, animals, plants, reading and hanging around. We also love to walk around new towns and cities and to learn different ways of living.

Music, Movies, and Books
Almost any kind of music (hip-hop, classical, rock, metal, thrash, folk... even electronic). Mayra plays traverse flute, fagot and keyboard. All kind of movies except actual comercial ones without real stories on them. Same goes for books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We went to Chile without even thinking about and left everything behind for something more than a month, where we knew lots of places and people. Even slept on our own near the house of Pablo Neruda!
Teach, Learn, Share
Best teaching is knowing different people that shows you the rich variety of the human being.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Experience of the city of Buenos Aires, with spots that don't appear in any guide. Good meals (we love to cook). Also nice conversation about anything you like to talk about, and of course, the charm of our lovely animals. We can advice you about prices and different places to shop, interesting activities, best way to move around. You can come in and out of our house anytime, since if you show trust and respect you'll get the same thing in return. And if our obligations let us a break, we offer you company to visit with you different places or go out to some place and have fun. Unfortunately we can't share a couch or a bed, since we moved there recently and have no furniture. That comes from you. But you can have the living room for you (and the cats).
