A couple years back I began writing short poems and began entranced with spoken word poetry. I am working on writing a book of short poems, so I suppose it's a work in progress.

I am involved in the arts community and want to give back someday in the near future to young adults and work with them to understand and turn to arts as a form of expression or coping with life. Art is sometimes a necessary part of life for many of us.
