About Me

CURRENT MISSION
This is not my final destination, I'm still on my way of traveling. So I gotta enjoy as much as I can. Some things are temporary in this life, the best we can do is to be nice to each other.

ABOUT ME
I'm a little of everything. Too random to describe myself, but a peaceful person I guess. Let's enjoy sunsets and sunrises. Seeing them from different parts of the world is such an amazing thing. Nothing extraordinary, just a simple person who likes simple things. Nature lover. A pacific person looking for friendship.

PHILOSOPHY

Live, love and forgive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

✓ If you are interested in Guatemala or Latin America I will be happy to talk about our culture. We can try different kinds of food. (Restauran food, Street food, market food, etc.)
✓ I can help you to show you around, giving advice about places you can visit, hosting and meetings more friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend of mine told me about Couchsurfing. It took me a lot of time to understand how it works, but I finally realized that it is a good way to meet friends around the world. My first surfer was a friend from India, it was a really nice experience so I want to keep the spirit of meeting different friends through CS

Interests

I am interested in knowing more about different cultures, the more I know about you and your interests the more fascinating the world is to me. I know that there is a world outside waiting to be discovered by ourselves, it is not the stuff you get from books or TV, instead they are real experiences with real people. I have an open mind about religion and different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Life is Beautiful, Shindler's List, the Boy in the Striped Pajamas, The Pursuit of Happyness, Slumdog Millionaire, The Notebook, K-PAX, Getting Home, The Passion of the Christ, Boys don't cry, The Shawshank Redemption, Seven Samaurai, Billy Elliot, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, I love old movies in black and white.

Music: all kinds of music such as Salsa music, Vallenato, Arabic, Hindi, Native African, Native American music, Blues, Jazz, and folk.

Books: I love poetry, and other kinds of readings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2008 my friends and I spent one week in the forest in the north of Minnesota. It was my first time camping. One night I decided to sleep out of the tent, my friends joined me. We were in our sleeping bags staring at the sky. During the summer the sky is so clear and you can almost see that the stars are very close. As I keep staring I saw shooting stars. There were many shooting stars that night. I started making whishes and whishes as I keep watching them pass.

The best stories I have are the ones when I've done random things such as taking a 17hrs bus from Guatemala City to Tegucigalpa Honduras to visit a friend.

Other stories are the ones where I have talked to strangers during my trips.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
