ABOUT ME

Female. Working at the local government related to the agriculture business.

I love good food and drink(wine and sake, of course beer!),any kind of arts(from classical to contemporaly) traveling, movies and world history.

My partner, Yuki has a Phd.and he is an associate professor of Niigata Univ. majored in Chinese Economy. He can also speak Mandarin Chinese well.

PHILOSOPHY

Now I'm living at the middle sized city called Niigata in Japan. I've been here for a year and a half but when I arrived, I was so shocked to know the people in here are not so rich and its social infrastructure are relatively poor, compared to Tokyo. But the strange thing is, the quality of life is much more superior than the life in Tokyo. As here, we have good local foods and can enjoy mountain/ocean activites in every weekend, etc..

I think it is getting more common issue in all over the world as the economic differences between the central city and local city becomes bigger and bigger.

So, I'm very much interested in how to encourage the local area and to find the good example if it exists.
