ABOUT ME

Nick and I are a couple who have just embarked on year long travels around and about.
Both friendly people, willing to learn and have an interest in finding out about all different kinds of cultures and lifestyles. his profile name is NICK+MAZ (see friends on my page)

Myself, well Im a graduate of International Development and Environmental Science (a bit of a mouth full, but good nontheless)and upon finishing just got those customery itchy feet that meant i couldnt possible get a job straight away.
At the moment Im backpacking/working with my boyfriend around Europe but upon returning will seek to do some foreign goverment volunteer work and maybe eventually go back to uni for a phd (and maybe someday even get a real job! on second thoughts, nah!).
Generally I like to think Im an easy going, open-minded, polite English gal; who naturally enjoys a good cup of tea!

Films about anything, depending on my mood, but a few favourites e.g Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, Little Miss Sunshine, Amelie, Garden State, Watchmen, Attonement,

Most types of music but mainly alternative, indie or rock e.g Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the Unicorns, Gregory and the Hawk, Emiliano Torrini, The Beatles, Blondie, Rilo Kiley, The Kinks, Dirty Pretty Things, the Rumble Strips, the macabees, clap your hands say yeah, Weezer, Beck, Moses and the Black Cats
plus I love the sound of 50s music e.g Bill halley and his comets and a bit of twist here and there anytime

Again a variety of differnet books e.g Jane Austen, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter books, memoirs of geisha, attonement
basically Im on a mission to find a good book i enjoy and will keep on reading till i do (and beyond, obviously).

Learn different cultures and customs.

Teach; if there is something I know that others want to know, then sure, anything!
