Hiya! Im Maz, a 33 year old from the lovely Blue Mountains west of Sydney Australia. My partner Keith and I currently live in London and love to travel, (40 countries and counting!).

We both enjoy live music, hiking / exploring the outdoors, photography and are always interested in meeting new people. I'm also learning ceramics at the moment and cant get enough! Keith plays guitar and also enjoys street photography.

Last year we travelled around Europe for 3 months in our trusty campervan 'Gladdice' and just had an absolute ball soaking in all the great places we got to see that you normally wouldnt without a car!

We have flat-shared for over 4 years now and stayed in Airbnb's all over the world so are always tidy and considerate guests and happy to help out around the house / cook a meal or two, we love to have a good yarn and certainly enjoy a beer aswell!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For us, travelling isnt about staying in fancy hotels - Its never really been our thing. We prefer to experience the place we're in - the outdoors, the culture and the people. Community is such a huge part of travel so I'd love to regain a bit of faith in the world as lately theres been so much negativity.. It can become a little isolating if you let it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sold everything i own (including a house) to move from a sleepy little town in Australia to hectic London! Highlight so far is travelling around Europe for 3 months in our trusty campervan 'Gladdice' - 70 days, 15 countries and 6,758 miles.
