Taking a year off from our jobs to travel

ABOUT ME

My husband Nellu and I quit our jobs to travel for a year. We spent three months in South America, another three and a half in Asia, one month in Australia and we're currently getting a little rest in New Zealand. We love swapping stories with our hosts and getting to see new places through local eyes but we can also be quiet and out of sight when you want us to be.

So far we've surfed twice and joined a group of people for a camping trip. All great experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We're still new to couchsurfing but we really enjoyed our time surfing with the crew in Sydney.
