ABOUT ME
I like movies. I'm sort of a big kid - that's not to say immature. I need orange juice every morning. It's my coffee. I'm quiet in general, but have bouts of verbal ADD. It's usually quite entertaining. I think the best summation of myself is that I'm a geek with above-average social skills.
I can be REALLY sarcastic and nothing makes me happier than someone who can dish it out as fast as I can give it. : ) Humor and sarcasm are what get me through the day. Some say I have a very blunt and dry sense of humor. I don't know... I always think it's funny!
I like radio controlled vehicles, a lot. I think that makes me geeky, which is very true. That being said, I'm not *that* geeky... I'm good at knowing where the line is so I can still be mostly "normal" - It's a good trick to know sometimes! I quickly get bored with things (not people) and move on to something else for awhile, only to become obsessed with the previous thing again sometime in the future. I get a hankering for a good video game session now and then. Nothing too intense, and no WoW for me, but I definitely like to play now and then.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm reading more now, which is good. Recently finished a couple David Sedaris books as well as "The Omnivore's Dilemma" by Michael Pollan. I love Michael Crichton and other books that are ultimately fictitious but could almost be real. I've been on a Crichton binge lately, I've powered through several of his books over the last few months. There's now only one left that I haven't read, "Next", and honestly, I kinda don't want to now that he has passed away and I know there'll be no more. I'll need to savor every page when I start it...
Yep, I like movies! (Surprising, I know!) Hmm, lots to like there. I like action movies, but only if they can stay (mostly) grounded in some sort of reality, dramas, arty films, independent films. I'm a HUGE Pixar fan. I like to talk about movies after I've seen them and hear my friends opinions about them. My schooling background has caused most of my love for movies, or at the very least brought it to a new level. I've got a BA in graphic design/3D animation (that I'm not using career-wise at all! My parents occasionally remind me of this...) and as such I've become very much fascinated with design, storytelling, visual elements and the like.
Music: One rule: Not big on Country. Everything else goes. I have very eclectic tastes and enjoy lots of different genres. I'm sort of rap/r&b/hip-hop deprived. I just don't have a lot of it nor friends who listen to much of it.
