About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm really not good at talking about myself but I'll try. I have spent the past three years jumping from one thing to the next and I love it. There is nothing more exciting than not really knowing what is around the next corner. New experiences are amazing. I love meeting new people even though I am quiet at first. Give me time and I will talk your ear off.

PHILOSOPHY

People are living this life too fast. We could all benefit from slowing down, doing what we enjoy not what is required of us, and not being so concerned with what others think.

Live life. Do what you want and don't let anyone or anything stand in your way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've been exclusively a surfer and all of my experiences have been wonderful.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love couch surfing! It saves me money while traveling but more importantly I get to meet locals (since I can be a quiet person I sometimes have to force myself to meet people). Every host I've had has been amazing and so nice and accommodating.

Interests

Books, being outside, music, jogging, movies, traveling (of course)and seeing new places. There really isn't something I wouldn't be interested in trying.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: It depends on the mood I'm in at the time.

Music: Just about anything but country and rap. I mostly listen to NPR.

Books: I love all books. Some of my favorites would have to be Shadow of the Wind, Pride and Prejudice, LOTR, and just about anything by John Steinbeck.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Right after college I joined the Peace Corps and was sent off to Kenya to teach science at a secondary school. Even though I came home early the months I spent there were the hardest, most challenging, but most fun in my life. I'll tell you more if you want me to.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can knit.
