ABOUT ME

I'm an American, been to 32 countries, and while I don't travel as much as I used to (five years nonstop!), I'm trying to carve out a niche for myself in New Orleans, while taking a few months out of the year to visit old friends, make new ones, and reach a few dream destinations.

I haven't spent a lot of time with other Couchsurfers, but I have been able host about a dozen people in the last year--hoping for more to come!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some great experiences in Brazil--other than that, my best couchsurfing experiences (beyond hosting) are perhaps yet to come.

Currently reading an anthology of African-American literature, a Bulgakov book, and just finished several Bukowskis. Currently listening to Nirvana, Springsteen, and Ryan Adams.

Katahdin, northern terminus of The Appalachian Trail. I am forever happy because the aggregation of events leading to finishing the AT made the view at the top infinitely meaningful.
