Travelling South America solo.

I am from Hastings, a town on the South Coast of England, but was living and working in London 2016 - 2022.
I was a technical consultant for a small company based in London, and was really enjoying the London life, however ever since a 6 month trip to South East Asia in 2015 I have known I wanted to travel again, and in 2022 I had the opportunity.
I put my career on pause and left London to travel South America.

I have no time limit, I bought a car in Santiago and I am planning to drive around the whole continent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am quite new to surfing, but I am really enjoying getting involved with the community while I am in South America

Interests

I am usually very active - while in London I spent little time lying on the sofa, I was normally out exercising, seeing friends or busy in the flat. I loved living in London for the music, theatre, comedy, restaurants, pubs and events but always missed having good access to nature. I travelled as much as possible while working, and was lucky to have friends who always wanted to join for a holiday, but now I have taken the opportunity to stop work and travel long term.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Buy a motorbike in Vietnam and ride it 2000km across the country.

Walk 100km in one day across the South Downs in England as part of a charity challenge event.
