About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Adapt to a sedentary lifestyle

ABOUT ME

I have been living in Germany since 2004, quit my job in 2012 to travel for one year. First New-Zealand, then Australia and Singapore (I have friends living in those two countries, it was so great to see them again). After a few months in South East Asia, I ended my trip in South Korea. Now I am back in Germany, working again but always thinking about the next trip!

Update: I quit my job again and will be travelling soon, starting in October in Chile :-)

Update again: After one year of travelling and one year in Seoul, I am back in Germany. I have a job, now I need a flat and can start hosting again.

Update: My place is too small to host, still looking for a better place!

PHILOSOPHY

Yes, I'm scared, but let's try it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet great people !

CS meetings in Mannheim, Heidelberg, Frankfurt, Istanbul...
I hosted some couchsurfers at my place and couchsurfed while travelling.

Interests

Cooking and eating, hiking, reading, travelling, laughing!
And concerts, I hope they will stop being postponed soon.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lost in Translation, Little Miss Sunshine, The Hangover, Goodfellas, No Country for Old Man, Apocalypse Now...

The White Stripes, The Kills, David Bowie, Arcade Fire, The Kings of Leon, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones...

Le silence de la mer, Eugénie Grandet, Les trois mousquetaires, Die Vermessung der Welt, City of Glass, A Confederacy of Dunces, Die Verwandlung...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying over the Okavango Delta, it is breathtakingly beautiful
Quitting my job twice to travel. I always wanted to do it and it took me a while to be mentally ready to leave everything behind me but after doing it once, it is easy to do it again and again
Passingall my exams in South Korea even if my Korean is still very basic

Teach, Learn, Share

I can probably teach some French and how to make crêpes (and many other foods, I love cooking!).

What I Can Share with Hosts

My smile :-)
