ABOUT ME

My name is Mariana, I used to live in Brazil, but in the past few months I moved to Portugal to become a Erasmus Student in Braga, where I will probably stay untill the begining of next year... Right now I am having the best time ever.

PHILOSOPHY

Today was good, today was fun... tomorrow is another one!!

That's a two sided expression. It both can mean that even the best day of your life can be worse than follow or that you shouldn't get to excited about a great day, because life can't always be great, it's always changing and leading to different paths.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I am spending a year in Europe so I would like to visit other countries the more I can. To learn the more is possible about each country, it's people, food and culture. Next year, when I come back to Brasil I intend to let as many people as I can visit my home, so then I'll be able to praticise not just my Englsh but the other languages I speak. It's very nice to exchange knowings with people from all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never experienced it yet, but so far I have great expectations.

Music:
I really like Counting Crows, The Corrs, U2, Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz.

Movies:
I always liked french movies, specially Amelie Paulain, Love me if you dare, La via en Rose and A very Long Engagement. And also Ridley Scott movies.

Books:
I read a lot, but mostly I enjoy Gabriel Garcia Marquez books and Pablo Neruda poetry.
