About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding ways to keep life's low-level ecstacy alive
ABOUT ME
I'm not a crazy party person, but I do love good company and good conversation. I love to travel, hike/backpack (with real tents + pooping in the woods) and technology. I'm pretty independent, self-sufficient and willing to turn a bad situation into a good one. Why not right?
I'm an eagle scout...or at least once was. I used to run cross country and track in high school. I went to art school for design and love it, but am trying to broaden the scope of my work using web and other evolving media.
PHILOSOPHY
Live your life to the fullest and the way you want and as long as it doesn't tread on me, we'll be great friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While I'm not hosting currently I will once I settle in somewhere. I love travel enough to host and hear about other peoples' adventures. I hope through sharing this with my hosts and guests in the future, it will add value to the community and make it more popular for what it is all about.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, but working on it.
Interests
Travel, backpacking, hiking, camping, exploring new cities and areas, road trips... basically anything not a 9 to 5. Also beer, arts, media & design and film.

Music, Movies, and Books
Action, sci-fi and comedy flicks. Also have an interest in film noir. Currently reading/read A Walk In the Woods by Bill Bryson though I'm not an avid reader. My music taste centers around classic rock and indie rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen a deer drown in a lake. Natural selection at work...tragic yes, but pretty neat.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share my knowledge of graphic/web design, web programming, hiking/backpacking/camping and travel tips.
