About Me

CURRENT MISSION

accomplish even one small thing at a time

ABOUT ME

I am a man who is most interested in world issues, politics, the environment, the economy, sports, culture, cuisine, language and literature, and life

These are the subjects I tend to enjoy discussing a great deal about, although I like conversing just as much about the nuts and bolts of everyday life in general just. I wouldn't describe myself as a man of few words.

I write a blog and am building a career in the investment/finance world.

I love to meet new people and learn things from them, and I enjoy visiting different countries and learning about other cultures. I try to stay open minded, and am always trying to evolve my perspective and refine my knowledge and interaction skills (I hope)

PHILOSOPHY

for all we know this life is all we have...you only get one so do what you really want with it if you have the oppurtunity and get what you want out of it, while being fair and not taking more than you deserve...it may be cheesy but you got a make the most out of each day that youre given, while keeping in mind that they cant all be perfect 10s... dont be selfish...family is the most important thing

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i am more than happy to assist and accomodate people passing through wherever i am...otherwise, i hope to take advantage of the great possibilities something like this has to offer

music - big fan of opeth...not gonna write every other great act that ever existed...dream theater is good too..radiohead...many influeneces...CIRCUS MAXIMUS
books - too many...off the top of my head, catch 22, and tropic of cancer, l'étranger par camus. la vie devant soi Romain Gary. The good soldier Sveyk by Jaroslav Hasek

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a little baby...to see one could be called amazing. Seen mountains and swam in rivers, lakes and three oceans. I've seen how happy some poor people in the world are compared to people in my society with shopping problems and anti depressant dependancies and all kinds of other bullshit obesity, who think they're the luckiest on earth. It was amazing to be liberated from that false perception.

Teach, Learn, Share

If youre new to the project, cooking or cleaning up the kitchen for your host goes a long way in establishing friendships and creating good relations for your stay. Sorry to seem redundant but you'd be surprised.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have been away from the project for a number of years but I think open-mindedness and courtesy are timeless values.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cuba, Hungary, Italy, Kenya, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, France
